On Fridays just before lunch our third and fourth grade reading buddies come to see us.  This time is an opportunity for children to get to know some of the older students in our school and  has been a eagerly anticipated time for both groups.   Mrs. Hale and I have been amazed at the level of engagement from everyone:  the kindergarten students love having books read to them and the third and fourth graders have been fantastic partners and role models.  So far students have had just one partner, but we will change partners next week.
